Dog Paddle

Master expects me
to wag my tail
and I do,
with my tongue out.
Heed to every command -
Fetch.
Sit.
Roll over.
This dog eat dog world
I find myself in,
trying to keep my head
above the water.
Paddling furiously to
please the Master.
Waiting for someone to
throw me a bone.
