what's up?!

well it's been a loooong time since i last blogged due to hectic schedules and tons of schoolwork and acil stuff to do..

so here is an update to what i have been up to these past few months after the Pre-C Day...

First ACIL stuff: We had the Consti Day, the ACIL Alumni Recollection, Evsem and of course the Centennial Board Meetings... The COnsti Day (special mention!) was fun because the current acil got to really bond with the alumni. Our FS ended at 6pm when it should have ended at 4:30.. We even played Marco Polo in the bus! Saya! Because of this event, we had a follow-up meeting/get-together with Mr. Dino Galura.. hehe more bonding!
Meanwhile.. Our Evsem was held at Kia's wonderful penthouse! hehe it was great cuz a lot of non-council members attended. After all the work, we watched a movie and had a Friends marathon! Official tambayan na ba to?! haha

School stuff: I guess the highlight was the Kiddolympics, a requirement for our Events class. It was really fun ala Blue Christmas because we brought the COnsti kids to Ateneo. My groupmates (RocketRide productions!:P) were really game and we all had a great time! I love our pink shirts hehe ang saya pa ng mga poses namin. The kids were raving about the event and they were starstruck kay Alfie (hehe thanks Yna!).. (no thanks though to Extra Challenge people for cancelling at the last minute!) Thank you to the ACIL people namely Kia, Michelle, Benj, Robert, Aligs, Cha, Patrick for helping out in the event! I hope we have more events like this in the future!

Others...
Kia's Housewarming party.. we were all dressed up and ate dinner at TOSH.. After teasing Kia's sister hehe, we walked around campus. Some were looking for ghosts, me? i was just trying not to be scared hahaha! Ang saya.. Hope we have more get-togethers like this.. kahit na ako lang ang senior.. sniff

Miggy's surprise - haha michelle's reaction was so funny. it seemed like she saw a ghost when she opened the door and saw us there and the place decorated with crepe paper and stars. we were surprised as well as she shrieked and we weren't sure if we should scream Surprise! Haha It was like a Disney Princess party and we had party hats and all. Even the cake was Cinderella's head hehe. After that, we went to Makati to drink and celebrate!

Practicum - Yup I'm a Makati Girl na! I'm working for McCann specifically Harrison Communications as an Account Executive trainee for URC snacks.. and im having a great time going to shoots, looking at talent cards (hehe showbiz), going to Adboard and basically trying to learn as much as I can about advertising. Although, there are many times when there is nothing for me to do.. that's when I play solitaire and surf the net or read.. hehe..

Galera - Wow sunburned ako! My boss even said to me kanina " You're so red!" haha nakakahiya and my face and shoulders hurt! O well it's worth it naman kasi i had a great time! I had fun getting drunk and dancing and swimming!!! Despite all the mishaps (lost money, lost ticket, slow boat, flat tire and now my sunburned face and shoulders), it was the best weekend ever!
